me2 Rubs Shoulders with De Bono
Lynette Jensen from Genesys Australia, and two of her associates, attended this years Creative Innovation Conference: Creativity, Innovation & Business, in Australia.

The Conference
The conference is the brain-child of Melbourne soprano and social entrepreneur, Tania de Jong AM who, with the help of her team from Creative Universe and Creativity Australia, managed to change the medium of a conference presentation into something much more like an art-piece. The end result was well envisioned, beautifully orchestrated and delivered, and provided every participant with considerable food for thought.
Great Thinkers
Creative Innovation 2011 brought together world-leading thinkers in the areas of innovation, business, cognitive thinking, invention, philosophy, creativity, and strategic and organisational planning and development to discuss the challenges and opportunities of a super-connected world.
World famous thought leaders, including Dr Edward de Bono, Professor Daniel Dennett, Raymond Kurzweil and Brendan Boyle, rubbed shoulders with each other and the conference participants, along with major names in Australian business, like Steve Vamos, Non Executive Director at Telstra, Pip Marlow, Managing Director at Microsoft Australia, and Simon McKeon, Chairman of Maquarie Group (Melbourne) and 2011 Australian of the Year.
me2 Diagnosis
Genesys Australia, partners of E-METRIXX, played their part in this years conference too. Using the me2 creativity diagnostic tool, they were invited to assess the creativity of applicants for the conference scholarship program which sees participants pitching their ideas for change and innovation in 60 second presentation interspersed throughout the conference.
Genesys’s data analysis of the results revealed a number of interesting characteristics about the creative make-up of the 2011 scholarship applicants and their creative style. The data analysis also helped to identify the various traits that indicate and individual’s creative out-put and approach.
