General Factor of Creativity
me2 General Factor of Creativity is a psychometric-based diagnostic tool for training and development. It is designed to help individuals, at every level, understand the psychology behind their capacity for problem solving and exploiting opportunities – this is what psychologists call ‘Creativity’.
The psychometric was released for commercial use in January 2011 and is being used on an international MBA programme, with a range of manufacturing and service companies and is also being trialled by a number of organisations from healthcare to space exploration.

me2 Questionnaire
The psychometric questionnaire consists of 103 items responded to using a 7-point Likert scale and with an optional impression management scale. Taking approximately 15 minutes to complete, the questionnaire is hosted on powerful hyperweb software and generates a 23-page personalised report containing the Psychology of Creativity and individual feedback.
The me2 questionnaire can generate over 244 million different unique reports.
Using me2 with Other Tools
me2 is a psychometric diagnostic tool that is focused specifically on Creativity and problem solving. It can therefore form the foundation of a programme but is also ideal to use with other psychometric tools:
- Use me2 alongside general personality measures (16PF, MBTI, OPQ, The Big Five, etc.) to better understand how people handle problem solving and exploiting opportunities.
- Use me2 with team assessment tools (Belbin, etc.) to better understand the roles people take when they work in a group.
- Use me2 with leadership inventories (MLQ, etc.) to better appreciate how leaders will approach decision-making, setting strategies and developing their vision.
